If you never heard of Kips Bay Decorator Show House you have no idea what you have been missing. This annual design event invites the world’s best interior designers together to transform apartments or houses in beautiful interior designs works.
This year a collaboration between Ken Fulk and de Gournay resulted in an exotic “Animal Dinner Party”. That’s what we get when to over the top names in the world of interior design come together.

The interior design project resembles a fictional tale created by Fulk called “Madame’s Magical Menagerie”, on which exotic animals escaped from the zoo and found Madam F’s stunning backyard, where they stayed and made her famous dinner parties even more bright than ever.

Each one of these panels was hand painted by Gournay‘s artisans.

The opulent, bright interior features monkeys, penguins, flamingos and plenty of vegetation.

According to the designers, the goal was to recreate a childlike wonder from the 1960’s, where poets, artists, philosophers could gather and find inspiration.
