AvroKO

A modern interpretation of the building’s Beaux-Arts architecture is exemplified in the stepped ceiling trims, simple curved moulding and both bold and contrasting wall panelling.
With the aim of carving out a generous amount of negative space in a city where breathing room is hard to come by, AvroKO kept the design of this three-story penthouse apartment in downtown Manhattan purposefully spare. A natural palette of materials pairs soothingly with vintage furnishings in organic forms.
DiGuiseppe
DiGuiseppe is an architectural and interior design firm, characteristically unique in the design field by providing in house procurement services, for all its clients. The firm specializes in lifestyle, boutique properties that can maximize creativity and individuality, and provides indigenous and genuine experiences for its guests/ clients.
This 89 room boutique hotel has been developed in the heart of the oldest leather and shoemaking district in old New York dating back to the late 1690s. The design of the hotel pays a nod to this history while centering on art and zen. The hotel boasts an innovative yoga master studio and a two-story bar/lounge with spectacular views of downtown Manhattan.
DiGuiseppe designed a series of large spa suites on the top floor of the hotel. DiGuiseppe’s addition was a complete departure from this historic hotel’s design, which was created previously. The design features an expanded bathroom with a soaking tub, separate shower and WC room with a large vanity overlooking the bedroom. Guest enjoy a unique, residential experience.
