The owner of this 1883 Georgian Townhouse, Lauren Buxbaum has worked alongside Nate Berkus for almost 15 years and had all the tools she needed for her solo project.
Buxbaum and her husband renovated the kitchen and bathrooms and once they settled in, Buxbaum redecorated each room with her personal style. She incorporated antiques with custom pieces that suited her family’s lifestyle.
The family room has an eclectic mix of shapes and styles featuring a light fixture from the 70’s and a mustard velvet armchair in the center of the room that complements the eye-catching bookshelves.
The fully renovated kitchen features floor to ceiling tiling and Carrara marble countertops.

Her formal living room is filled with antique pieces. When inserted in a curated ambiance they can add great character to a room.
The master bedroom has a neutral color palette complimented by warm bronze shades and black accents.
For her daughter’s nursery, Buxbaum wanted to go for a sophisticated yet fun setting, opting for displaying all of her stuffed animals, a lush green wallpaper, and a vintage chandelier.
