Discover the Stunning Cast Iron House Projected by Shigeru Ban – Japanese architect Shigeru Ban recently designed the 135-year-old building – Cast Iron House – which has been recognized as a New York Landmark for its exquisite cast iron facade.

Shigeru opt to preserve the building’s remarkable facade, that was built in 1882. The interior was redesign to include 11 double height units and a two story penthouse addition. The beautiful interiors were styled by interior designer Brad Ford.

After the renovation is complete, the duplex residences are expected to expand up to 25 feet to take advantage of the original vaulted windows and will contain around three to five bedrooms each.
Also, the spaces will have a basement, which includes an exercise gym, dance studio, game rooms, an exterior courtyard, and a spa with sauna and steam room. A really amazing place to live.

In each space, you will find custom-made cabinets, wooden floors, and statement lighting fixtures as well as a selection of paintings and sculptures.
The bathrooms feature heated floors and polished chrome fixtures.
