The Seattle Art Fair – USA

The Seattle Art Fair is a one-of-a-kind destination for the best in modern and contemporary art and a showcase for the vibrant arts community of the Pacific Northwest.
Based in Seattle, a city as renowned for its natural beauty as its cultural landscape, the fair brings together the region’s strong collector base; local, national, and international galleries; area museums and institutions; and an array of innovative public programming. Founded in 2015 by Paul G. Allen, the Seattle Art Fair is produced by Vulcan Arts + Entertainment and Art Market Productions.
Conference: UX Week 2018 – San Francisco, USA
August 21 – 24, 2018, Hyatt Regency, San Francisco, CA
During a four-day conference based in San Francisco, international design pros will gather to share skills and inspiration. The speaker list includes Hannah Beachler (Production Designer, DDA) and Roman Mars (99% Invisible), along with workshops with leading designers that will cover issues like human-centered content design and protest design.
São Paulo Design Weekend – São Paulo, Brazil
August 29 – September 2, 2018,
One of the summer’s biggest design events, this is more than a celebration of Brazil’s thriving design scene – but rather that of the entire Latin American design world. ”. It was created to promote Design and its connections with Art, Architecture, Urbanism, Decoration, Social Inclusion, Aggregation of Value, Business and Innovation.

16th Biennale Architettura – Venice, Italy
May 26 – November 25, 2018
La Biennale di Venezia was founded in 1895 and it is now one of the most famous and prestigious cultural organizations in the world. Paolo Baratta has been its President since 2008 and before that from 1998 to 2001.
It stands at the forefront of research and promotion of new contemporary art trends, organizes exhibitions and research in all its specific sectors: Arts (1895), Architecture (1980), Cinema (1932), Dance (1999), Music (1930), and Theatre (1934).
The 16th Biennale Architettura Exhibition will take place from 26th May to 25th November 2018, curated by Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara.
Aarhus Festival – Denmark

Once a year, Aarhus Festival makes the city vibrant with life, energy and creativity. For 10 days in August/September every street and alley, club, stage, gallery and museum swarm with art and entertainment. Renowned traditions flourish side by side the new and unexpected.
Aarhus Festival has been an annual event since 1965, showcasing local, national and international artists. Through the years the Festival has been a great success and has grown into one of the largest cultural events in Scandinavia, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2014.
