The Eleven Madison Park, consider the best restaurant in the world has moved their upscale American cuisine to East Hampton. They have forgone the elaborate eleven-course retrospective menu they’d been offering since April, in favor of more casual fare like bacon-wrapped hot dogs and a passion fruit-infused vodka cocktail served in a copper garden gnome.
With two mouthwatering menus that consist in a casual spread served on the patio and more elevated offerings for those dining inside — the EMP Summer House.
From the fluke ceviche with cucumber and radish (picture below) to a corn, black truffle and parmesan flatbread, there’s no shortage of creativity on chef David Humm’s indoor-outdoor menu at the EMP Summer House.
Also not to be missed: the requisite lobster roll (served with brown butter and Bibb lettuce) and the “Milk and Honey” soft serve topped with shortbread, brittle and meringue.
