The Salone made its first appearance in 1961, designed to promote Italian furniture and furnishing accessories on the export market, and it has continued to do so impeccably, ensuring that the quality of Italian furniture is known to all four corners of the earth, and continues so to do, with half of all its visitors coming from around the world. The Salone Internazionale del Mobile is reconfirmed as the acknowledged exclusive showcase for the latest in furnishing, with a vast range of top quality products in every conceivable style.

In this year’s edition, the Fair will have for the first time the exclusive and unique bathroom design of MAISON VALENTINA.

At Salone del Mobile, MAISON VALENTINA will be exhibiting the KOI Collection.

KOI carp is a recurring symbol of Japanese culture, highly appreciated by its decorative purposes, not only in water gardens but also in Irezumi practice or, most commonly, in tattoos. Its natural color mutations reveal their capacity to adapt, just like our KOI collection. KOI and the Japanese word for love or affection are homophones, making the carp also a symbol of love and friendship.
