The recently opened M Social Singapore is an avant-garde design hotel created by Philippe Starck.
The hotel has 293 rooms and is nestled near the Robertson Quay area. Is defined by the use of raw concrete that is balanced with the concept of immateriality by the use of mixed-media such as videos and projections.
Decorated by Philippe Starck, the mix-match of interior spaces have been purposely established to differentiate the experience of each program. The restaurant named “Beast&Butterflies” is the perfect example of this mix-matching since it has been deliberately arranged in a separate part of the hotel but is unified with the rest by the use of spanish floor tiles.
According to Starck ‘M Social is where all the elements of the world – including creativity, humour and love – come together in an explosion of energy to create the joy of today’s and tomorrow’s world. To me, it is a stage dedicated to creative people,’ comments Starck.
There are four different rooms available that have been conceived to offer a comfortable and timeless elegance. Warm colors, opulent materials and high ceiling heights give the versatile rooms a sense of home away from home aesthetic. Each of the accommodation options is offered in varying sizes and diverse configurations. ‘the nicer room’ opens onto a terrace, while ‘the bigger room’ is a duplex-style loft with a terrace.
‘M social will be the new and vibrant place in singapore where elegance, creativity and technology meet to offer a unique experience to our global smart tribe.’
The duplex room features full height bay windows, with ample workspace coupled with a relaxation area and also opens up to a private open-air terrace.
The rooms are conceived to offer guests with a comfortable and contemporary experience.
There is also an outside pool.
