Christmas Wonderland, Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair, was created to enthral visitors with a combination of magnificent sculptures of light and charming festive markets alongside carnival games.

Back for its second year, Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay 2015 spans 35,000 square metres, across four main areas: the magnificent Luminarie light sculptures which begin at the Golden Garden and extend throughout the festival site; the Festive Market at the Supertree Grove; the Fairground near The Meadow and the Christmas Toyland floral display in the Flower Dome.

Visitors can look forward to festive treats from traditional goodies to party favourites, as well as exclusive creations available only at the fair. Craft huts offering a variety of artisan and lifestyle products will delight shoppers looking for unique gift ideas.

New to the fair are nibbles from Churros Factory and the Dutch Pancake shop, as well as international cuisine by Slake (Peranakan & Vietnamese), Tiger’s Milk (Peruvian) and more. Returning best-sellers include kebabs by Shabestan, local dessert creations by Janice Wong, a specially curated charcuterie plate by Culina, as well as Japanese delights by Isetan.

Visitors can also head over to the Spiegeltent for a one-of-a-kind dining experience at the century-old travelling ‘mirror tent’ from Netherlands. Diners can savour festive delicacies amidst an ornate décor complete with brocade draperies, stained glass and beautifully handcarved artwork. The specially curated menu by Harry’s include Smoked Duck Breast with Marmalade Glaze, Pineapple Honey Glazed Ham as well as Rudolph’s Gingerbread and Raspberry Sundae. A sumptuous weekend brunch spread will also be available on Saturdays, Sundays, Christmas Eve and Christmas day from 10.30am to 3pm.

In addition to dining options, visitors looking for gifts for their loved ones will be spoilt for choice. Take inspiration from the gift ideas offered by craft vendors, from items such as handmade pop-up cards, sock toys and artisan perfume. In addition to festive design items from one of Singapore’s most iconic gardens, the Festive Market also feature local craftsmen Csquare Jewellery, Perfect Fit and Sally’s Room amongst others.

Visitors to Christmas Wonderland will stand a chance to win a trip for two to Hong Kong. To qualify for the draw, visitors will need to obtain at least three stamps on the Christmas Wonderland Passport, which will be given out at Christmas Wonderland information booths within the Supertree Grove. The stamps can be collected by experiencing various attractions within the fair. Other prizes include a staycation for two at The Club Hotel, and S$200 worth of dining credits at Harry’s.

Christmas Wonderland welcomes local and international visitors from 27 November 2015 to 3 January 2016.
