The Met Gala 2016 show had a futuristic focus to inaugurate the new exhibition – “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology”. As it is normal in this annual fundraising gala, celebrities wore the most iconic and bold outfits that, this year, excelled by their originality under the “hightech” theme.

From Lady Gaga’s computer-circuit-board bodice and Katy Perry’s Tamagotchi accessory  to Kate Hudson in shards of flexiglass and Zayn Malik’s armoured sleeves – and metallics galore – see what the stars wore to the Met Gala 2016.
