The upcoming edition of Maison et Objet Paris, one of the most important interior design events, is taking place next January in Paris and, for this edition, were chosen once more some outstanding and promising names in the field of interior design, architecture and decoration.

By having the opportunity to showcase their work and express their design practice, these top interior designers will have the opportunity to have a space entirely dedicated to them during fair’s four annual edition.

For this January edition, Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet has been selected as designer of the year. Quitllet describes his creative state of being as a “disoñador” – a contraction of the Spanish words for ‘designer’ and ‘dreamer’.

Growing up in Barcelona, a special hub for culture, these promising designer has been working across a range of design disciplines – from desktop accessories to electronics to furniture, conceiving best-selling objects that linger between drawing and sculptures.

His creative vocabulary is more than a simple relationship between function and style, introducing new products to the contemporary design scene.

Eugeni Quitllet has become a pioneer by understanding our ever-changing paradoxical age who will certainly bring his cultural values as a designer to the Maison et Objet next January.
