Now into its 28th edition, the International Lighting Exhibition opened its doors to visitors from Tuesday 14th to Sunday 19th April at the Rho Milan Fairgrounds, in synergy with the UNESCO International Year of Light 2015. The huge array of goods on offer, combined with innovation and excellence, make Euroluce the benchmark exhibition for the lighting world.
With 475 of the best Italian and foreign exhibitors in the sector, Euroluce is recognized as the global benchmark lighting exhibition, where technological innovation and design culture take center stage.
The huge array of goods encompasses the very latest devices for outdoor, indoor and industrial lighting to lighting for shows and events, hospital lighting and special use lighting, lighting systems, light sources and lighting application software.
Euroluce is not just the meeting Euroluce meeting place and venue par excellence, it is also the most avant-garde trade fair in the field of eco-sustainability and energy saving in both the decorative and the lighting technology sectors.
Riding on the success of the past editions, global automative industry leader Ford Motor Company will be back with the Ford Lounge for the third year running at the Salone del Mobile – inside the dedicated space in Pavilion 13. An area devised not just to provide Euroluce exhibitors with an enjoyable spot for meeting clients, but also to give emphasis and visibility to Ford design and style.
Alongside the commercial offering, the International Lighting Exhibition is staging an innovative cultural light-themed installation – event in Piazza San Fedele “FAVILLA. To Every Light a Voice.” Conceived by the architect Attilio Stocchi, it is part-story, part research into the essence of light, open not just to visitors to the Salone but to the entire city of Milan, which has been hosting the trade fair for over fifty years.
