A harmonious blend of innovative designers, visionary architects, and meticulous project managers. Their team is multi-disciplined and driven by the same goal: to exceed expectations completely. Their all-inclusive design service includes all aspects of interior architecture and decoration. The attention to detail in design is then carried through to produce stunning results.
This stunning Grade II listed property is located within the beautiful Albert Court apartment building, next to the iconic Royal Albert Hall.
On this project, they were solely responsible for design and FF+E, and they collaborated with a larger team of consultants with whom we communicated and coordinated. It was an honour to work in this magnificent structure and to design a classic contemporary interior scheme that respected and celebrated the period’s architectural features.
Their client hired us as the interior designer as part of a larger design team early on in the development of this luxury personal estate in Catalunya.
This first phase of a larger build, completed in 2017, saw us renovate the interior of an old farmhouse ‘finca’ that sat on the larger plot of land. Phase 2 will see the construction of a new 15,000-square-foot home that will be finished to our client’s specifications.
On the renovation of this elegant Kensington apartment, they were hired for full interior design and project coordination.
The finished interior is a story of attention to detail combined with a very homely, eclectic elegance that was inspired by our client’s brief and brought to life by them.
Every aspect of this early Art Deco apartment and building is unique, and they were inspired to design a decorative, fun-filled, yet functional scheme.
Base Interior completed all permissions, concept and detail design, tendering and contract administration, and finally a successful handover.
They completely renovated this dated apartment from both a spatial and conceptual standpoint. They worked with their fabulously trusting client’s input to create some beautifully bespoke pieces, such as their geometric stone floor made up of three contrasting stones hand selected by their Creative Director. Another beautifully crafted and custom-designed feature is the bar/media unit.
This was one of our most complex and transformational projects, with multiple permissions required and numerous impediments to the space plan, but all were overcome during the design process.
They transformed a former potters studio on the ground floor with a separate residence above and an external staircase into a home with a dramatic staircase, open-plan living on the ground and first floors, and a beautiful double height ceiling feature. Eclectic touches throughout convey a strong sense of our unusual client’s personality and lifestyle, as well as the relationship they formed with them.
They were appointed by our client while they were halfway through the property purchase, allowing us to get a head start on preliminary and feasibility studies in order to work out the best floor plan, budget, and time frame before the purchase was completed.
Working with our fantastic team of consultants, they were able to create a stunning contemporary home for their clients by working through the permissions process, concept and detailed design, and onto the tender package.

This project’s successful completion has resulted in two additional projects with the same client.
They collaborated with Fraher Architects on this Grade II listed 18th century townhouse, responding to a very specific aesthetic brief that allowed them to show their eclectic flair and curate a truly beautiful home.
Working with a property with such a small footprint was challenging, but their experience with compact London spaces enabled them to fulfill their client’s 21st century wish list, which included introducing air conditioning, smart home technology, and a large eat-in kitchen with adjacent BBQ area and endless concealed storage.
This was the second of four projects completed for this client and his family.
