is Being a top architect that is known for her amazing creations throughout the city of Paris, Laura Gonzalez uses her classical style inspiration to create unique design projects for restaurants, bars, hotels, and stores. Is at the entrance of the famous Hall 7 at Maison Et Objet‘s, you’re able to admire the Café Signature designed especially for the event.
With a luxurious and eccentric interior, this incredible spot is the perfect place to take a break while savoring a selection of dishes and pastries devised by Pierre Hermé. The expertise of Pierre Frey is showcased in a unique decor that features shapes, colors, and materials that only Laura Gonzalez could combine, a space defined by a mix of rounded shapes and bright colors.
Bringing together designers, engineers and creatives, essential Milanese gallery owner Rossana Orlandi put the spotlight on plastic: recycled, reworked, recovered, it shifts from the status of annoying waste to that of the material of the future. With Rossana Orlandi (Founder of Guiltless Plastic), Alexander Schul (Designer) and moderated by Clara Le Fort (Editor & Creative Director).
Previous editions of the interior design award have focused on emerging talents from China, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Lebanon. For the fall edition of the incredible Maison et Objet, the organization of the event decided that was time to recognize the American talent in their inspiring Rising Talents contest. From a lighting designer who fills rooms with blossoms and bubbles to a product designer energized by his industrial Midwestern roots and a pair of artistic cousins who make sculptural metal furnishings, there are many American talents.
