The California Wine Country is a beautiful place to visit. Wine lovers don’t need much of an excuse to go to this region, but the 57th annual Art in the Redwoods Festival, happening on the 18th and 19th of August, is another reason o go to this area. This area boasts a lot of luxury hotels, so you even have another reason to go!
DW! São Paulo Design Week is the largest design festival in Latin America. Starting off in the 29th of August it’s an event you don’t want to miss. Besides the city has a strong street art culture so you’ll have plenty to see when it comes to art.
Speaking of design events, the Seattle Art Fair is happening in this city known for its architecture. The event will feature many special guests, so you can’t miss it! If you need another reason to visit think of the amazing hotels and rooftop bars all over the bustling city.

Denmark comes alive in the summer, offering locals and visitors plenty of activities and festivals to celebrate the warm months. One of them is the Aarhus Festival, starting on the 31st of August, in a city with the same name, that was elected last year’s European Capital of Culture. If you still need a reason to visit this Scandinavian city just see some photos of the region.
The quaint island of Nantucket will also be hosting a design event at the beginning of the month (1-4 August). The festival will open private homes and historic sites for panel discussions, parties, dinners. If this doesn’t convince you, think of the historic hotels and the gastronomy in the area.
