Hotel Henry<\/strong>\u00a0is has a\u00a0total of 88 rooms, and although much of the hotel was remodeled, some parts remain untouched. It was also completed with lavish furnishings, a farm-to-table restaurant, a luxury gym, and,\u00a0s<\/em>ome people say by\u00a0ghosts of former patients.<\/p>\n

Back in time this hotel was formerly the Buffalo Asylum and is a historic, castle-like structure that was abandoned after the asylum closed in the 1970s.<\/p>\n

Originally designed by Henry Hobson Richardson<\/strong>, the asylum was partially restored and redesigned by architecture firm\u00a0Deborah Berke Partners<\/strong>, along with Flynn Battaglia Architects and Goody Clancy, a preservation firm. The landscape was designed by Frederick Olmsted<\/strong>, who also designed\u00a0Central Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The hotel is surrounded by a lot of urban legends about the building that\u00a0claims its haunted<\/strong>, you will hopefully only encounter friendly ghosts during your stay, or perhaps\u00a0you will get a very spooky Halloween.<\/p>\n
