His work has appeared in over 4000 publications worldwide and currently his projects are featured in 10 coffee table books including his first book, Live, Love, & Decorate.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bright colors, bold patterns, and an array of global accents prevail in the alluring spaces created by Martyn Lawrence Bullard<\/strong><\/em>. \u201cTravel is my biggest inspiration,\u201d says the Los Angeles dynamo. \u201cIt takes my work in exciting and fresh directions.\u201d Embraced by an A-list clientele, he has designed homes for Cher, Eva Mendes, and Edward Norton and is now transforming a Tuscan-style villa in the Hollywood Hills for Ellen Pompeo. Complementing Bullard\u2019s residential work are his worldly home collections (including wallpapers, fabrics, and carpets), as well as retail and hotel projects, among them a redo of the historic Cha\u0302teau Gu\u0308tsch in Lucerne, Switzerland.<\/p>\n

The last project of Martyn Lawrence Bullard\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>was with Khlo\u00e9 and Kourtney Kardashian.<\/p>\n

Martyn Lawrence Bullard<\/strong><\/em> provided all the exotica Khlo\u00e9 coveted, dressing her home in a kaleidoscopic array of Moroccan, Turkish, and Middle Eastern flourishes. His coup de th\u00e9\u00e2tre is the tented living room\u2014an ethereal white fantasy presided over by a massive Levantine mirror with silent-film-era allure. That parlor opens onto a vine-covered terrace, where hanging daybeds sway gently in the Pacific breezes. As Bullard explains, \u201cKhlo\u00e9 wasn\u2019t interested in a traditional take on Moroccan style, so we cleaned up the lines and gave it a more vibrant, contemporary feel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yet for all the drama of these spaces, the room that perhaps best reflects Khlo\u00e9\u2019s vivacious spirit is her gargantuan closet\u2014a treasure chest of ensembles meticulously organized by color and style\u2014devised from two erstwhile bedrooms. \u201cI don\u2019t have kids, so why not?\u201d says Khlo\u00e9, who recently debuted her talk show, Kocktails with Khlo\u00e9<\/em>, on the FYI channel and is working on a new makeover reality series for E!, the same network that has made Keeping Up with the Kardashians<\/em> a sensation. \u201cI was very hands-on in the design process. I\u2019m obsessed with details, so I can be a bit controlling, but it\u2019s only because I\u2019m genuinely curious.\u201d<\/p>\n

That love of discovery is shared by Kourtney, who immersed herself in the history of 20th-century design to build the foundation of a serious collection.
