EN SUITE. At @downtownlaproper, we used an open floor plan for the guest suites. Our goal was to make the en suite bathrooms intimate and gracious. Connectivity is so important when designing hotels and we wanted to highlight that in the layouts of the rooms. The DTLA Proper is a historic building that was once a YWCA and it was so important to us to honor the original design elements. We even kept the original swimming pool and basketball court and reimagined them into speciality suites! Connecting the bathroom directly to the bedroom makes a guest room feel residential and comforting while celebrating the rarity of floor plans in this hotel. XK<\/a><\/p>
