Luxury Bathroom by Karin G\u00f6tz Innenarchitektur<\/span><\/em><\/strong>, this interior design<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> office was founded in October of 2014 in Potsdam \u2013 right between Lake Griebnitz and the historic film studios in Babelsberg. Karin studied interior design<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/em> at the University of Applied Sciences for Art and Design, in Hanover. Since 1989 she has worked as a freelancer and self-employed as an interior designe<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong>r in her own office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The free-standing bathtub<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong> on an indirectly lit platform allows a view of the gas fireplace and out of the window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of a large family luxury bathroom<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong>, the parents of a family of five wanted a very private retreat for their new townhouse. This design of a so-called \u201cen suite\u201d bathroom<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/em> was enthusiastically received because it combined a generous feeling of space with their self-care oasis. To quickly achieve the room temperature required for bathing, a large gas fireplace was integrated \u2013 which also has a room-dividing function in the direction of the bed. The free-standing bathtub<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong> allows a view in all directions and is comfortably shielded by a semi-transparent room divider\/canopy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The double washbasin<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong> unit, which was moved towards the window, was separated from the new shower area \u2013 the black glass mosaic and the built-in furniture\/mirror<\/span><\/em><\/strong> cabinets<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/a> are highlights of the room. The overall design of the new luxury bathroom<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/span> lives from the contrast between the expressive black glass mosaic and the simple large-format tiles in a light concrete look. Warmth and coziness are added by custom-made built-in furniture in a warm wood tone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A sauna<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong>, a steam bath<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong>, and a small fitness room were integrated with glazed fronts and completely round off the wellness concept with a spacious shower and sanitary area. Additional highlights are a relaxation lounger and heated benches for resting and warming up \u2013 while you relax here, you can get a soft tan at the same time if you wish through \u201csun meadow\u201d panels integrated into the ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the washbasin<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong> side, the caramel-coloured washbowls are particularly eye-catching \u2013 tiles are only in the splash water areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
