\nMilan Design Week<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is still ongoing and it already brought in a couple of tp novelties from some top brands of Italy and other countries. Have a look at a couple of top\u00a0furniture products that you will be able to find in the many events happening throughout the city until the 14th of this month<\/div>\n

Caimi Brevetti<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

For the 2019 edition of Milan Design Week, Caimi Brevetti decided to\u00a0pay tribute to its\u00a0creator (who named the company) with three new designs featuring new forms and colours that give shape to the acoustic performance designed by the company:\u00a0FLAT, PINNA<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0KLITTER.\u00a0<\/strong>You can see these new designs for yourself at Fuorisalone marked by the high tech contents of the Snowsound designs by Caimi Brevetti.<\/p>\n

FLAT is the latest product of the long-standing partnership with Alberto and Francesco Meda. It consists of a line of sound-absorbing panels. It consists of two different shapes come together to create innumerable arrangements, being overall it is characterized by a clean, minimalist design<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

PINNA was designed by a+b \u2013 Annalisa Dominoni and Benedetto Quaquaro. The product\u2019s name means \u201cfin\u201d in Italian and it consists of a three-dimensional sound-absorbing structure, a sculpture of sorts, made more suggestive by the pleated fabric. This product\u00a0is the result of the intrinsic technology of Snowsound Fiber combined with the craftsmanship of high fashion with a full attention\u00a0to the materials and fabrics.<\/p>\n

KLITTER\u00a0is a line of sound-absorbing wall-mounted panels whose shape evokes the sensuous and feminine movement of sand dunes. This took an idea from\u00a0renowned Danish designer Felicia Arvid and thanks to the shape of the product the name \u201cKlitter\u201d\u00a0came to be, which means \u201cdune\u201d in Danish.\u00a0Fitted with the advanced Snowsound technology, Klitter blends poetry and function in perfection by placing several panels together to give\u00a0life to seamless, three-dimensional walls, with a flexible, wavy appearance.<\/p>\n

Glas Italia<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

Milan Design Week promises to be a strong year for Glas Italia, seen as they\u2019ve brought in a couple of products that came as collaborations with some top designers such as\u00a0Piero Lissoni,\u00a0Patricia Urquiola,\u00a0Mario Bellini, Yabu Pushelberg and\u00a0Philippe Starck (in cooperation with\u00a0Sergio Schito).<\/p>\n

Biesel by Patricia Urquiola is a collection of high tables, low tables and consoles\u00a0made in multi-layered and multichromatic glass. The glass used is presented in different shapes, shiny ground polished and \u201cfaceted\u201d by means of unique bevels.<\/p>\n

The L.A Sunset also by Urquiola also shows a collection of low round tables with tubular metal structure. These tables are painted in midnight blue or in the new copper colour in a special metallic opaque finish. The top, in laminated glass, is a palette of colours on a mirrored background, blending and mixing with one another like gas or fluids, disguising the solid state of the material.<\/p>\n

Jabot by Mario Bellini consists of a collection of dining tables created by glueing\u00a0at 45\u00b0 slabs of transparent 12 mm extralight glass, milled and with a shiny ground polished edge. The inner part of the legs has a shaped edge that is reminiscent of soft and wavy whipped cream.<\/p>\n

Yabu Pushelberg<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Nacre table consists of a low table with a fluid aspect inspired by the organic form of an oyster shell.\u00a0The top, placed on the basin, is in laminated glass 6+6 mm. in straight mirror finish which emphasises the transparent round area.<\/p>\n

For the Milan Design Week 2019, the table\u00a0Lady Hio<\/strong>\u2018s legs, cylindrical and tapered, are now available in Nero Marquina or in Arabesque white grey veined marble. The legs were fixed to the top and rest on the floor with brushed aluminium, anodized gold, rose copper, bronze or nickel joints. The product is also available in\u00a0transparent coloured glass, glossy coloured glass and matt coloured glass<\/p>\n
