New York City designer Eddie Lee was hired to reimagine this stunning suite bathroom. The clients wanted\u00a0the bathroom to look cross-cultural and lavish \u2014 \u201ca blend of English charm and Asian lushness, with some European classicism, added in,\u201d Lee says.<\/p>\n

After subdividing the space into intimate niches \u2014 \u201cThey echo the arches in the lobby of the 1885 building\u201d \u2014 Lee created a breathtaking moment with a Gracie chinoiserie wallpaper. Lee knew the visual would be worth of any worries: \u201cThis is a pied-\u00e0-terre, so it doesn\u2019t see daily action. Plus, we added a protective coating to resist moisture.\u201d<\/p>\n

To create this frame into the wallpaper and define the arches, the wainscoting and floors were faced in Calacatta Gold marble. Traditional brass fixtures from Barber Wilsons bring old-world styling. \u201cYou\u2019re instantly transported when you enter this room,\u201d Lee says, \u201cand that was the ultimate goal.\u201d<\/p>\n

This statement chandelier makes a showstopping scenario at the bathroom entrance. Also, the architectural mahogany\u00a0balances the atmosphere of this bathroom.<\/p>\n

The mirror in the shower will help you with your needs and also adds a different touch. The Regent exposed pipe shower head with hand spray is by Barber Wilsons.<\/p>\n

The Louis XVI Treillage dresser from Restoration Hardware was transformed into a bathroom vanity. To the right of the mirror is a concealed medicine cabinet that opens with a touch latch \u201cfor an uncluttered look,\u201d Lee says.<\/p>\n
