Tavan Group clients inherited the wife’s childhood home and wanted to make it their own. The overall renovation occurred in two stages with the interior of the home being renovated first to accommodate the needs of this family’s busy lifestyle. Upstairs, the master bedroom was reimagined and upgraded. By removing a bedroom, Tavan Group created a second master walk-in closet and a full laundry room. Plus, the master ensuite bath is now a spacious spa-like oasis!
The view from this Ultra-Modern home is outstanding! Located in Vancouver’s Point Grey area, this home boasts extensive floor to ceiling glass, that provides for amazing views and brings natural beauty in. The clean-lined home design is subtle and the incorporation of premium materials and finishes yields a simplistic elegance. Seamless lines are seen in the gorgeous open staircase that transitions freely from level to level. Natural light floods the space. Hidden power roller blinds on all the windows control the light when needed. The solid wood interior doors boast a custom-designed carved inlay, so beautiful! The bathrooms are well-appointed, with the powder room having a customized dog bath!
This home truly reflects the grandeur of the past while celebrating nowadays lifestyle! The European Manor styling features an authentic slate roof and zinc gutters. The exterior walls are sandstone from Valdes Island. Traditional mullioned windows and custom white concrete quoin corners complete the look.
This busy family of four loved the bones of this home, but it needed updating and improving. New Oak hardwood floors were installed throughout the main floor and new tile installed in the bathrooms. All spindles and handrails were reused, sprayed white and reinstalled.
Located in a prestigious Vancouver area, this home is filled with old-world elegance and English charm. While the styling leans heavily to English Tudor, the striking roof-gables suggest a French Chateau. Pristine landscaping envelopes this masterpiece, ensuring a perfect fit into the existing neighbourhood. The new homeowners were faced with big issues, with water damage appearing in the stairwell. At first, it just looked like a new roof was needed but upon close inspection it was apparent that the leaks were aggressive, causing water damage and windows rotting. Ninety per cent of the home’s exterior had to be removed and the exterior envelope has done correctly. The home received all new windows, siding, stone, posts and ballasts.

In a concrete-built home, Tavan Group first challenge was to completely strip the exterior cedar siding and replace it with properly finished cedar siding. Extensive remediation was done on the pool area, including the pool’s mechanical issues. Inside, the home floorplan is in a zipper fashion which results in multiple levels. It was determined that the floorplan layout needed a full redesign in order to improve functionality and the home’s visual aesthetics.
Located on a gorgeous tree-lined street in desirable Dunbar, boasts traditional Tudor style and is enveloped in warm red brick. Upstairs, this home boasts four large bedrooms, each with a personalized ensuite displaying rich marble décor. The master suite appears large and cosy all in one breath! An inconspicuous walk-in closet offers plenty of space for clothing storage and display, while the very-inviting ensuite offers the complete relaxation package.
Located on a beautifully landscaped property, this former dream house and yard needed substantial renewal. Although the home had a large floor plate, it wasn’t working efficiently for the client’s lifestyle. Now a fully functioning family home, this beautiful home is the ultimate entertainment centre, hosting many friends and family. A new open deck now extends the master bedroom to the outdoors. With totally renewed completely renovated bathrooms, this home is now both functional and beautiful.

This new custom home replicates a century-old Tudor, matching the grand neighbourhood style. But like so many homes in this area, perceived value dictates that every cubic foot is scrutinized. Upstairs is the magnificent master ensuite is an open, curbless walk-in, a double shower that soars to 16 ft. at vault’s peak. With dual showers within a shower, this unique design starts on the floor and continues up the wall. The spectacular shower wall features a 24 karats gold-tiled damask pattern soaring to the peak.
