Iconic, unrivaled luxury, and Australia’s most Instagrammed place. The rebuilt and repositioned Number 8 on Notts Avenue Bondi Beach will be offered privately in late 2020. Three exclusive units in a guarded boutique premium residential development. The building’s finishes, fittings, facilities, and services are tailored to the demands and desires of those fortunate few who live in cosmopolitan, city, beaches, and business lives throughout many worldwide destinations.
Stewart + Stewart drew inspiration from the client’s rural land, a working farm that had originally delivered bales to this ancient woolshed, now converted into private houses, and included salvage from it. Customized warehouse doors are stacked with sheep shed timbers, black glass, and brass engraved wheels to highlight its considerable structure.
Stewart + Stewart was originally hired to restore the foyer, master bedroom, and terrace of this waterfront estate, but are now redoing the entire vast triple story home. A classy palette of Italian stones, aniline leathers, luxurious silk carpets, French duchess satins, and downy velvets. This beautiful home exemplifies timeless luxury and subtle charm.
Stewart + Stewart was tasked with creating a luxurious experience for a young international couple that reflected the ever-changing ocean vista. The residence was stripped down to its essential bones. Compromised rooms were reconfigured to increase views of the ocean all the way to the back terrace. The rooms are suddenly flooded with gleaming light. This is accentuated by the use of white stones, transparent tones, and bleached flooring.
Stewart & Stewart created the architectural design for this home. Spacious, modern, and designed to meet the demands of a busy family. A basic finish palette with dramatic repurposed timber beams inlaid into joinery, flooring, and ceilings juxtaposed with natural polished concrete and bare steel. It’s industrial, robust, and straight.
Stewart + Stewart was commissioned by the owners of this classically designed penthouse for a comprehensive aesthetic renovation. The aim was to brighten the areas while also creating a classy backdrop for the customers’ art collection and personal vacation images.
Stewart + Stewart’s goal was to connect the interior of the apartment to the history in the central atrium of the historic wharf. The spaces are defined by grey lusters, bare steel, repurposed oak floors, and warehouse doors with wide steel shelves. As a consequence, a one-of-a-kind and inviting house has been created within a spectacular, historic industrial environment.
